LED in the instrument panel

I saw that the instrument panel light bulb is a 194. Has anyone else upgraded to a LED 194 bulb? If so how do I remove the panel to get to the bulb?

First remove the two screws that hold in the dash piece right above the steering wheel that houses the dimmer switch and cruise control buttons. Remove this trim piece. Next remove the screws that hold in the black bezel that sits in front of the cluster, I believe there are four total. Now remove the screws that hold in the cluster, disconnect the wiring in the back and presto! you are done.

I have them on the interior courtesy lights and they look great !

Note that the gauges themselves are green, not just the light bulbs. So installing blue lights might end up giving you a teal color. Just a heads up

I actually did this as l had extra led bulbs. When l removed the bulbes they had a green cap over the bulb. As long as the led bulb shine like a standard bulb you will be fine.

make sure the LED bulbs have a decent spread or else it will not light up the full gauge cluster

"Ricer" is those you mod up honda's and such. As in the giant fart pipes for exhaust. lol
I think it looks pretty good myself.
I have blue led's in all my inside lights, except for the map light.

I personally like the blue look as well. I replaced all my interior lights with green led's ..black on black and glowing green! And if you really like to be called a ricer, install blue halos to match. I love my green ones
