just got my LED high beam bulbs in 9005 bulb size and 120 SMD LEDS, i haven't tested it at night yet but in the day, they are pretty damn bright.

need to get some new bulbs for the side of the high beams (not sure what they are called) but going to match them with the 6000k look i am going for, bulbs were cheap, like 8 bucks? off ebay

What you guys think?

These will be useless at night. Bright looking at it is not the same as bright trying to get light 100ft down the road for you to see something in sheer darkness.

Agreed.

Even tho the circular area with the mirror like plastic is used to sort of focus and enhance the bulb inside (like a flashlight), it still will not come close to what a regular light bulb will do.

Maybe the OP doesn't use high beams ever, but I would still want to know I have a usable High beam. For safety reasons etc.

Looks nice tho!

Also interested in pics...I tried LED highs before and their output was horrible.

Well, didn't have time to take a picture of the high beams for you guys, but I found out I got the bulbs for free from the ebay seller, I woke up one morning to check them out and thought one of them burnt out and told the seller. But in actuality I was dumb and didn't connect it secure, but it works, the ebay seller issued me a refund! so SCORE?!

lol that happened to me once....I bought something and it never came. Seller issue refund and then like a month and a half later it arrived...so it took USPS that long to deliver it lol.

led fogs & highbeams look good for show but not for driving when light is really needed.

I though the Leaf had LED headlights? Do they not work in general, or maybe the OEM version is better than eBay Chinese stuff?
