LED Fog Light Upgrade & Resistors?

Hey Nico,

Looking to upgrade my fog lights from stock. I've had a couple sets of bulbs in there, but they've gone out. The gent at Nissan said that if I put LED bulbs in there, I would need a resistor.
I'm currently looking into purchasing the following items:

Resistors - The only ones I see on VLEDS are labeled as turn signal resistors http://www.vleds.com/all-products/vlr-r ... -hd-c.html

My Goal:
To use 5k lamps as fog lights because they look so much better than the stock fog lights.

My questions:
Have any of you upgraded your fog lights with 5k or 6k bulbs? How did you do it?

I upgraded to LED fog lights without the use of any resistors and have not had any problems. I bought them from Diode Dynamics, quick shipping and they look bright. Huge improvement over stock.
