I have Philips DRL 9 LEDs installed on my 2007 G35S. They tend to flicker on and off. I found out I need something called a can-bus (which I'm not sure exactly what that is) but am having a devil of a time finding the correct one to fit my needs. I had to call Philips UK (since these lights apparently aren't street legal in the US (why???)) but they were unable to tell me which can-bus unit I need. Any help would be greatly appreciated! The LEDs look great when they're working -

The quick answer? Not gonna happen. In simplest terms, your harness (actually, your entire electrical system) wasn't designed to provide the correct voltage to those bulb units.

I'm sure they look cool, but there's a reason they're not recommended for your application - How do you propose to aim them correctly?

They do, in fact. They are aimed correctly according to the (minimalist barely understandable instructions in multiple languages) installation instructions. Why should something so (relatively) simple become so complicated? I just wanted some DRLs so that I would be more visible when headlights were off.

Thank you

You might look at this another way and using your front turn signals as your DRLs. I've done this on my 2007 Infiniti M35X and on my 2010 Lexus ES 350. I installed the VLED Triton Switchback bulbs which allow you to have full bright white DRLs which dim 90% when your headlights are on and turn amber when you use your turn signals. The installation takes a couple of hours and they really look great. Here is the link: https://www.vleds.com/shop-application/ ... /7440.html
