Your map light bulb is a BA9 bayonet-type bulb. I purchased two 5000 Kelvin BA9's from V-leds two years ago and they work fine. The closest version that they carry now would seem to be this:

http://www.vleds.com/5k-white-3-chip-5- ... -pair.html

They are constantly improving these LED bulbs, so model numbers change and disappear, but the description of the one that I bought was "2 HID 5K WHITE SMT 5 LED LIGHT BULBS 1895 53 57 182 BA9s".

I'm tempted to try a set of some of the newer, brighter bulbs for my reverse lights; the ones that I bought two years ago are a bit weak.

Have you received your lights yet? I went through 3 pair before I found ones that would work but they were so much dimmer than the panel LED's I have in the rear. Which was strange because they wouldn't work up front, but they worked in the rear. I'm tired of the brightness in the back and the dimness up front, just wondering if those worked for you so I can order them.

for the front map lights you may have to switch the wire in order to get the leds to work.

I use the 12 smd panels which comes with a tiny plug on the wire, easy to install

how do you switch the wire?? i would like to know as i really dont want to spend any more money on leds if at all possible....thanks again for the info...i figured it was a reverse polarity issue...i just got frustrated and finished the rest of the leds in the car and left the two dome lights alone for now!!

See, what puzzles me is the same panel LED's I used for the back, I used for the front FIRST and they didn't work, so I don't understand what's going on. You still think I need to reverse the wire? :gotme

Check airbag fuses...

As for the led panels on the dome lights, I had a set with a plug in wire. Unplug the wires flip them to reverse polarity (red to black, black to red) and that's all it took for mine to work! Not sure about the soldering part :gotme

checked the fuse and it is good...i also called the dealer and they said that they will need to hook it up to their machine to see why the air bag light is going nuts! just not happy about this as it is a safety issue and i dont like to drive an unsafe car!

do you all think that pulling the negative terminal off for a few minutes will solve this issue or do you think i still need to go to the dealer and have them check it out??

Not sure but I just remembered I tripped some fuses while switching out to led interior and lost power to many things inside

Took it in to dealer with OEM lights back on so I wouldn't get the run around and it was similar thing covered under warranty since I was still under 4/60 full warranty!

It only happened with the dome lights so it's that reverse polarity issue...

My problem was I was changing out the light bulbs while the lights were on :slap:
