How's that for a mouthful?

One thing I miss from my 91Q, which had a spoiler, is that the high mounted stop lamp was on the spoiler. On my 90 is on the rear shelf.

Looking around, I found this source for a window mounted light:

My question is, will the low current draw of the LED's make the sensors think the light is "inoperable", and if so, would a resistor make it work?

Any suggestions appreciated.

It seems that a resistor in series would make it work, but only if the resistance of the LED lamp is less than the stock ones. If I recall, the Sylvannia LL bulbs have a resistance of 2.4 ohms each or thereabouts.
