My leather steering wheel 2015 Pathfinder with 18,000 miles is peeling. Service manager says it looks like it is caused by wet hands causing leather to wear off.
I have owned cars for years (our second car is 10 yr old Mazda with over 100,000 miles) and never had this issue.
Service manager Told me to come back in a month and suggests installation of steering wheel cover. I don't want a cover on my steering wheel

Any suggestions. I see other posts about this problem.

Just another reason the new generation pathfinders are junk. You can put a leather steering wheel cover on it and that wont look too bad. Otherwise if its not covered by warranty (and interior parts usually aren't I think) then you are SOL.

I suggest making a list of all the similar complaints that you can find, call Nissan USA Customer Service, and request a solution.
