I just bought a new leather sheath for my Ka-bar and was wondering what's a good way to break it in. It's really stiff and it's hard to get the knife in and out of the sheath. Also anyone know how and what I should oil my knife with?

Gun oil works great. But you shouldn't have to oil it as much as you would with a folder... only time I could think of is when you sharpen it. I prefer my leather sheath/holsters stiff, so can't help you there. The sheath is one thing you should oil though...keeps it softer and looking kewl.
