Hi all,

My 2005 G's front leather seat (beige) are showing small cracks around the seat side bolsters. On beige seats this looks like they are dirty, as the cracks are darker. Is there anything that can be done to improve the look, other then having them covered up with cloth seat covers?

Thanks,

You might want to look into a car interior upholster or try using some Lexol: http://www.lexol.com/auto.html.

I have this same issue I have tried leather cleaner, leather conditioners, leather creams and even Leatherique (80 dollar kit) nothing has helped this issue. Not sure what the next step will be. It pisses me off that the seats in the G with 38K miles are looking like the seats in my 540 with 113K miles

Yes, I'm thinking I should have gotten a car with black leather seats. Live and learn. BTW, my wifes Nissan Quest's gray leather seats after 150K km look better. Need to find a leather conditioner with color built-in to tint the seats. No luck so far....

I work for a dealer ship and all i can recommend is a leather dye to make the cracks not look like there dirty. I have a 06 g35x with the tan interior and the cracks are fairly noticeable, as well as it looks dirty but i will be getting the interior professionally dyed and i will post pics.

I used diluted pinesol to clean mine and then Lexol.....I had googled and found a site that recommended this. Seemed to work good!
