leather seat issues

has anyone notice something with there leather seat bottom ,looks kike something has come apart under the leather.its an 06 sedan,dealer said its from dragging across the seat when exiting and entering.im a honda tech and dont see this on hondas,am i doing something wrong?

I thimk your Dealer is blowing smoke. Get it replaced under warranty. leather should last a very long time. I have a leather jacket that is about 15 years old. It has taken abuse from rideing the bike. It still looks pretty good
