I bought kit 3 and the steering wheel kit - it includes a shiny "clear coat" to make the surface more durable.

Looks pretty shiny
The color of the wheel is closer in person, but the sheen is still too shiny - apparently it is supposed to dull after a few weeks
I love the gear selector now

I did this project over the weekend, I wasn't very hard - just time consuming.
For under $200, this made a noticable difference. I still have more than half of the dye left - so that'll be a project for 2018
