Im wondering if anyone has had any experience with leather repair kits.. not cheap stuff, im talking about the better stuff, like the leatherique kits...

Also, besides leatherique rejuvinator, whats the best leather conditioner out there??? The leather in the Q is starting to get a little firm and id like to soften it up...

You can see the little crack on the middle panel, on the front of the seat...

I've used Meguiers leather conditioning wipes, they are pricey, but they do really soften the leather up.

While I don't share driver's optimistic assessment of Meguiar's, I prefer Leatherique, Lexol and Zaino "Leather in a Bottle", not necessarily in that order.

Keep in mind, Wes, that Lexol gets consistently high ratings from the pros in high-end car detailing and restoration forums AND you can buy it at PepBoys, along with its sister product, Vinylex, which ALSO gets consistently high ratings.

I may try that lexol stuff.... Now i just gotta find a pepboys, all we have is autozone and advance here in town...

Anyone tried the leather repair stuff? The thing is, I wish leatherique made a smaller size (say like 8-12 oz) so I could try it out cheaper.. lexol isnt very expensive, at leats in comparison...

Where do you get leather in a bottle.....

Alright.. Maybe what I need to do is get the leather warmer.. I hear the stuff works the best when the leather is hot before application...

Are you talking about repairing cracks or just conditioning?

I know the Meguires stuff works alright.

My leather in my M3 is cracking on the bolsters. Not sure if thats repairable or not.
