Leather repair?

Does anyone know if a mothod (that actually works!) to repair small tears in leather. I have one 1/2" tear in the rear seat, and it bugs the hell out of me. If anyone has a found a decent product, then you'll be a life-saver!

Check with a local auto interior shop, also the interior sub-forum here on NICO.

A good auto interior/upholestry shop should be willing to tell you how to fix a tear smaller than they want to fix.

Alright I don't know of any interior repair shops locally - what would their title be in the phone book? I'll look for "Auto Interior" and maybe "Automotive" I just want to get this fixed! Thanks!

For small tears, many NICO members love Leatherique. As long as there's padding under the tear, its repairable.Otherwise, if the padding is gone, you usually will end up having to replace the entire section.

Nah there's padding. It's about a 1/2" long at MOST, and a small tear. I never touch it/mess with it or the padding beneath...

If its not a total tear thru the leather you cna use leatherique... otherwise get someone to replace that section with some vinyl...

Honestly, it may be more cost effective to find a good rear seat...

Its a tear through the entire leather and its an ugly little bastard

Replace with vinyl!?!? Whaaaaattttt!!!!

I may be on the hunt for a rear seat soon haha, no damn vinyl in my Infiniti!!!
