I've started a big project here. 've taken all the seats out of my 99 Q in order to renovate the leather. My initial plan was to simply redye them black with the leathrique kit that I bought but now I've decided to take apart the seats, swap the driver and passenger foam and remove the seat covers to condition the leather from the back side. I've gotten one seat bottom done and the difference in the leather feel is amazing. Pics soon. . .

Sorry if I am thread jacking.

Can this be used on leather that has gotten hard over the years, Such as door panels?

Is any experience with leather required to use leathrique?

Does leathrique change the leather such as give it a fake feel or does it just restore the color?

Does the back seat allow the removal of the foam from the leather as easily as the front seats? If so look into adding rear seat heaters (With massagers)!

Sorry for the 20 questions...

I am glad for you and I can't wait for the pictures!!! :dblthumb:
