Leather package without moonroof???

I'm considering buying the Rogue. My problem is that, being somewhat taller, the lowered ceiling with the moonroof hits the top lof my head. I do however, want the leather package.

My problem is, every dealer in the Buffalo, NY area tells me that they can't get a Rogue with the leather package that doesn't have a moonroof. I've pointed out that they're completely separate options and have basically been told that they're separate in name only as there are no cars configured that way.

Does anyone have or know anyone who has a Rogue with the leather package that doesn't have a moonroof? Help!

When I was looking they said that to me too. I ended up not getting either though. But I did test drive one that had leather and no sunroof. They apparently typically come together, but you can find them without the moonroof.

At least the US models get the option. For some inexplicable reason, Canadian model Rogues come with the sunroof as part of the premium pack or premium and leather pack. Go figure, we get snow and ice for 4-6 months of the year where we can't open the sunroof!

I can well appreciate the lack of headroom in a sunroof equipped vehicle. It also seems the Rogue's sunroof is very far back, almost to the point it's in the second row.

Both you and your dealer are right. These two options are independent (per Nissan's website), but Nissan assumes most people that are getting the premium or leather package are likely looking for a the sunroof as well.

Therefore, most pre-configured vehicles you see on lots are gonna have this.

I'm sure you can get it without the sunroof, with leather if you order one through a dealer that needs to be produced at the factory.

However, you'll wait a while for it and likely pay nothing less than sticker. Good luck

Somewhat taller? I am 6' 6". I have the leather/premium/moonroof combination. With the seat back straight up, my head hits the roof as well, but if you recline back the seat just a little bit, it is not that bad. I only wish the steering wheel was telescopic as the arm length gets a little longer.
