Anyone have any idea how much it would cost to order a leather back seat, leather door panels, and leather front seats? Can I even order these parts from the dealership?

i think a couple of ways would be cheaper than getting them at the dealer, cause they rip u off anyway they can. one: try and find a wrecked s14 and get those leather seats if they are usable. two: get your the seats you have now wrapped in leather. those would prolly be cheaper..

It would cost like 500 bucks to get your whole interior redone in leather if I remember correctly....just find a place that does it...

Whoa, $500 is a lot cheaper than I was thinking! I was at Nissan's website and to add the leather option it was ~$3000 for any car. I hope that $500 includes the door panels!

No, it just includes front seats and backseat. There was a company in Wisconsin that was going to do it for me, I didn't ask about the panels because I"m having everything done in fiberglass....

if you can get a deal for around 500, you are being hooked up!or they are going to be useing a lot of vinyl and mixing it with leather..

the leather kit that I purchased for my previous 91 cost me 530, and that was COST.. I worked at a place called AutoTrim, and did all the work myself.

we would charge about ~$800-$900 depending on the car.and depending on the car, that included door panels.

these were pre-made kits that still had to be completely installed.

(they were Katzkin btw... very good product http://www.katzkin.com )

if you goto a place that does all the work themselves, you may be able to get a better price. Just be sure to ask for pictures or look at some of the work they have already done.

I, too, wish to hear more of this fiberglass interior. I've seen replacement door panels (just a part that replaces the carpet material, not the whole door's inside) but never a full fiberglass interior.

Basically they just take molds of your components, I'm only having the door panels and center console and such replaced. Oh, and the chunks in the back of the S13, but not the whole dash or anything. They just take stock parts, because I want it to look stock, make a mold of it, mold the fiberglass onto the mold, bake it, and install. : )

As far as the leather kit, I was getting that katzkin stuff too, but I didn't know that was nearly cost, it wasn't 500 even, it was somewhere in 500, can't remember the exact price, I"ll let you guys know when I get the bill. Its a company in Wisconsin, but they may be cutting me a deal as they're doing my interior eventually... : )

Keep us informed. If they're making a mold . . . you think it'd be cheaper to do a group buy? or do you get to keep your mold? Have you done any checking into how much it'll cost? I want to re-do my interior after doing some other work on my car (my S13 has a 170k miles on it and shows them off quite brilliantly inside ^ ^). Fiberglass sounds like an interesting way to do things.

I am soo glad I stumbled across this conversation! I love my '91 fastback passionately, but the interior needs help! The previous owner was an idiot, and the interior needs lots of redoing. I have checked into pricing, and an apholstry place in town told me for a basic fabric, it would be $290 per seat. Leather, I'm sure, would be more. So, I would dare to say getting custom leather interior would be at least a grand. I am still looking for a deal though. Let me know if anyone in the Dallas, Texas area comes upon a cool deal on good custom work.
