LEATHER FADING....

man, so on sunday I saw that my leather is fading... it's bluish grey, right on in the middle of my back (where I sweat on long drives, shh, you kno you do too), anyone got any suggestions on products to put the color back in. they're black...

What product have you been using on it?

Leather doesn't need to be "waterproofed", it came off a cow's a$$.

lol I used lexol preservative and conditioner... the leather looks good, but I think my moister rubbed the dye off...

...I used to work for a leather company, and we waterproofed the jackets to avoid these such things. the leather absorbs the moisture. but its' not the leather I'm worried about its the black dye that rubbed off LOL... and what brand re-dyer to use.... we didn't dye the leather so Iono that process. lol

Good - Lexol is a good product.

This sounds more like a bad dye issue, like you said. I'm wondering if those were dealer added, considering you have the 2.5?

I've seen some Katzkin kits do funky stuff. Was it a leather car FROM the factory (on left side of window sticker)?

yeah, its factory leather... and I refused to go to the dealer lol they're a$$holes... any suggestions?

not the sweat.. the sweat evaporating and leaving the salt on the leather!glad its not an issue!

yea, the salt... I happen to have been skatin extra hard these last few weeks for a comp this past sunday, so I was hopin in the coupe extra sweaty and sh*t lol not doin that again...
