Leather cracking on the drivers side door?

My 2007 Nissan Driver Door Leather is starting to crack where I rest my elbow. Anyone have any idea how to repair that?

It's vinyl. Any upholstery shop should be able to make a new piece relatively cheaply. Or, remove it and re-cover it yourself with vinyl from a fabric store.
