I just did my leather care on the weekend. I wasn't realy satisfied with it. I used Eagle 1. It could be just me not the product. I tried those presoaked towels before also. Do you clean the leather before or just aply the leather care product without cleaning. I cleaned my leather seats with window cleaner.

How do you clean your car inside?

I used to use Black Magic leather cleaner, was an awesome product except it was far too 'oily', it made everything look wet and slick, which i liked, but it just seemed too over the top. I then tried Eagle 1, pretty crap, except I found it actually 'cleaned' the leather, though don't ask me how it got dirty cause I don't take any passengers in my car and I clean the leather every weekend, yet there was still dirt residue on the cloth.

The product I currently use (and the one I like the most) is Turtle Wax leather care. Its got the wet look that I like, without being greasy/oily and seems to clean everything really well. Its also go UVA/UVB filters and lubes. Id highly recommend it.

One thing I'd like to know though - How does one clean suede, other than by vaccuum? Can you use wet vac? There is a light spot on two on the rear seat which I'd like to see how to remove safely.

Turtle wax hm. I'll give a try next time. I used glass cleaner to remove spots but I don't know if it is a good idea.

Sean,

That is a pretty good info. For suede I guess you can use those waterproof sprays what you can buy at the shoe stores to prevent it.

I had one.. can't remember the name of it tho. It was same SERVE AND PROTECT I mean clean and protect. I had in my head when I used it how on the earth you can clean and apply things at the same time. That is why I want something to clean and than apply protection on it. I was shocked when I cleaned my leather seat on the weekend. I used windows cleaner(probably not good idea). Man the towel looked dirty. I beleive because till that point I just used the presoaked towel to clean and protect at the same time. Like armor all or other products. I was corious if you can by just something to clean the leather.

Griot's. They are really spendy, but have awesome products. One cleans and another protects the leather, and are not very oily at all. It also smells fruity out of the bottle, but after you use it, the leather smells like brand new leather.

Lexol is what I use. Both their cleaner and conditioner are excellent products.

I have Leatherique too and just need to find the time to use it and see how it does.

Like some here, I have used Lexol, and like it very much. However, my favorite product for leather care is Leatherique.

Thanks for the heads up on Griots... I am always looking for good quality car care products. They don't look all that expensive. I have used Zaino's, and it seems that Griot's is less expensive than that.
