I know a few of you have talked about leasing your vehicles and I would appreciate if you could give me some info and your likes/dislikes.

I know I have talked a lot lately about trading my car. One problem I have is that I bought my car in a much better economy than we are in today. I put a lot down on it. I'm thinking about trading it and leasing a car and getting my equity out to pay some stuff off. I have never leased a car, but I think I am a perfect candidate. I average about 12k miles a year and treat a car as best as humanly possible.

Also...most of you know my car. 29k miles, always serviced by Infiniti and in about as good a condition as you are going to find a 2 year old car. It is loaded sunroof/technology package etc. What do you think it is worth sale outright/trade value. Is there anybody on this board that might be interested in it?

23k to 26k, if you can get that nowadays.

Do not lease, unless you want to. You always have the option to buy at the end. They do inspections, and you have to bring the car in when they say so. At the end of the lease you get inspected again. If anything is broken it comes out of pocket. If you have a lot of time on your hands, and don't drive as much, lease.

However, with your G, I would see about just a straight trade in on a '10 model, or IPL. You will be much happier, and you will see a major difference in quality with a '10 model.
