Lease depreciation ratings

I have never leased a car before but found this interesting. The EX-35 has a 3 star depreciation rating and the FX35 has a 4 star rating.

So, just to be clear - does that mean ALG concluded the FX35 (4-star) holds its value better than the EX35 or FX45 (3-star) and that the G35 and G37 are best of all (5-star)?

I wonder if it's because the EX is a new model and they take a MOR approach. I can see the FX45 holding it's value a bit less than the FX35 because of the thirstier engine, IMHO.
