Tequila is disgusting. I can't stand it. Speaking of alcohol though, I had a little too much SoCo last night and somehow ended up at my first strip club. They might as well have robbed me for what I got for $45......

ANYWAYS, I finally buffed out my headlights. As Razi had said, it sucks. They look almost the same in pictures but are like 999x better.

Hope y'all are doin good. :) I'll try to be around the parts more. I miss the crew, especially you OG guys.

I think a lot of people must have. One of the guests for tomorrow's cookout seemed genuinely shocked that I wasn't serving alcohol.
him: "really?"
me: "really; i don't drink"
him: "hmmm, so there's not going to be ANY alcohol"
me: "none"
him: .....silence.....

I REALLY hope he doesn't show up

Just because you don't drink doesn't mean you can't serve it. I don't like cheese cake but I'll serve it to people. Don't be mean!

My daughter's dad was an abusive alcoholic. It's not allowed out of respect to her.

^ when that happens I'm the jerk who brings a 6-pack with him. Or a 24 with a cooler :)
Which evidently leads to other guys wanting to share a cold one, so trips to the gas station are made to purchase such commodities. I establish myself as the Alpha male and the pack follows

I was in Jackson WY yesterday and saw two awesome rare cars. Unfortunately, I didn't have a camera ready for either. But I passed a Merkur XR4Ti on the highway, and then later there was a yellow Bricklin sitting in an alleyway. Awesome.

I respect everyone's wishes with alcohol. I will allow it in my house, but if certain family members are here, I put it away or make sure there's none left when they come since it makes them uncomfortable. I don't have any alcoholics in the family right now, but if I did, the same rule would apply.

I was doing ok, but I'm worried the stomach bug is trying to come back. Starting with the baby on Thursday, the whole house has had it most of the weekend. My mother in law was staying with us too, so we were a very fun crowd this weekend.

How are you Bex? How'd the cookout go?

It was awesome. We had 6 last minute cancellations which was aggravating because I bought enough food for a certain number of people. Oh well, lots of leftovers. I figure I have enough food in the fridge / freezer (not counting milk and bread) to last until Thanksgiving. :chuckle:

Leftovers are great. We have enough from the weekend to feed us for most of the week. We didn't get to cookout sadly, but we still made a couple of good meals.

Is Greg back from TX yet?

I bet. I would've loved to have been there for that. I bet he got to make some really good contacts too while he was there.

I wish I could've made TOTD this weekend. My mother in law made a last minute visit, so I could've actually gone if I had known about her visit earlier. It was probably for the best though, because we spent a lot of money last weekend in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.

No we didn't make it there this trip. We went to the Apple Barn and a few mom and pop restaurants. The Apple Barn was awesome. It was kind of like a Cracker Barrel, with much, much better food.

We also went to the Titanic Museum, which was awesome, but a bit pricey too. Although, I was more upset that you couldn't take photos inside, considering the cost. Still worth the money though.

We're planning on going back again as soon though. Maybe even in October for my birthday, if we don't end up going to see my family in GA. I'd rather go to Gatlinburg personally, but I should go see my family I guess, since they've been to see me a whopping zero times in five years and I've been there 6-7 times now.
