I'm counting down the days until I can go pick up the N7 for myself. Just over a week now.

I've also gotta pick up a new router too. I can't get mine straightened back out, so I'm just gonna go pick up a new one and get a warranty this time too.

Indeed. Talk about replay-ability.

Aside from the few people who seem to be perpetually unhappy with the build quality, I've yet to see someone who doesn't love it once they pick it up.

And the way you go through routers is baffling to me... Not that it's your fault, it's just some piss-poor luck or something.

It's been on life support for a long while now, it seems. All the OG post whores appear to have moved on. I think it stays alive for nostalgia more than anything else (and I'm totally ok with that).

And we still have some decent discussions in here periodically.

About half of the conversation topics were taken away with this whole crackdown on boobs and butts.

What do you guys think about freckles on women? I'm not a huge fan.

Agreed. Crazy freckles are almost disturbing. Who ever found lindsay lohan attractive?

I've played with the one at Sams Club a few times now and I love it every time.

I don't understand it. I go through one every two years or so. Different Internet connection types too. I've been through 2 WRT54Gs, 1 Belkin, and now this Netgear. I'm just gonna buy one at Sams and get the 3yr extended warranty, then I should be good for a while.

In case you're wondering, when you get to the purchase point, every ROM I've tested is insanely stable. I've had no issues. I know there isn't quite as much a need to root the tablet, but some of the additional tweaks I've gotten used to on my phone and I had a difficult time going back to not having them.

Sam's sells routers? I didn't know that. I wonder if Costco does too (no Sam's membership for me, have Costco instead). I rarely go through the electronics section in there as I might end up spending money I don't have. Definitely don't have the budget for any big ticket items in the near future.

Who would admit to finding Lindsey Lohan attractive before age 18? That's asking for an FBI tail.

I've made worse comments (anyone seen Ryan's signature?), so I've probably already got a tail.

Yeah, but the tail only gets you to one.

The Japanese have a tradition that some animals can become Yokai by acquiring extra tails and thus gain supernatural powers.

Adam - I'm sure Costco has routers too. I buy 75% of my electronics from Sams. They have exceptional deals and are always at least a little cheaper than everyone else. The 16 GB N7 is $248 there. I even bought my Gnex from them as well.

Plus their warranty coverage is amazing. If you get their warranty, they will immediately give you a new replacement on the spot if something goes wrong. If they don't have one, they'll give you full credit.

anyone have a good recommendation on one of these?

Image

the reviews on the ones i've found so far claim cheapness and not holding up after prolonged use.

also looking for the pull-up thingy too. one that gives me a variety of pull-ups, and can be used on the ground for push-ups as my post-op wrist won't bend enough to allow me to do normal push-ups on the ground.

i have one that looks similar but had rounded edged so that you can do hammer pullups at 2 diff widths and a wide angled grip hanging off the edges

had it for years, did months of p90x etc with it never failed.

I think I have the Gold's Gym one, it was pretty cheap from Wal-mart.
It's holding up well.
