dad getting tipsy alone is rare enough. the gf was my half asleep mind assuming it was her instead of my dad.

mod:
1. i've been seeing a lot of crappy "mexican" chains opening up around here over the last few years. but at the same time, there has been an influx of fantastic real mexican food joints popping up as well. which makes me very happy.

2. ipa's are ok. i prefer a nice hefeweizen or lager, though.

I'm not a fan of the melting pot either. Silly expensive for what they're giving you. Granted, good melting cheese is not cheap, but I never walk out of there feeling satisfied in regards to satiety.

Wheres this doggy located?

ok, so i have to put a price to this 280z dash that i have for sale. i've seen one on ebay for 150 that was in horrendous shape, and i've seen one for a 240z here in CT for 850 in damn near perfect condition.

here's the dash i have. it has 3 cracks, i didn't get that angle, but they are of varying lengths, maybe 1/16" wide at most. what do you think it's worth? according to becky, they're getting pretty hard to come by these days.

I don't know a damn thing about those, but I'd probably put it up on a couple of Datsun forums (like ratsun) and start it at $200. If you end up with a serious offer for $150, take it since you just want it gone. It might be your only offer, ya know?

Whoo, I pop back in from a long time off and its beer talk.

I just brewed a double for the company that turned out really balanced and it very tasty. Not everyone has a bitter bone or likes citral piney flavors. Some IPAs especially doubles have the tendency to over do the malt in peticular the caramalts to balance the hops, but the trick is to do a good base wort at a medium to high level(86 IBUs) and just match it with a good dryness and a slight sweet finish to hide the alcohol. I think alot of brewers just don't know what to shoot for when crafting a recipe.

I like it all but really digging the sour beers coming out locally. Hot side sours are safe but are tricky to get right, cold side has a high risk of infection but usually is easier to get the tartness or sour to a good level without much effort.

Oh and hi I really need to catch up. I am just now finishing up my RB20 daily hatch and going to take the coupe off the road to fully redo it. The wife is good and the daughter is 3.5yrs old and super awesome when not tired and super emotional when she is. And I still live at a brewery for most of my life ATM.

Making one of my regular business trips to the Idaho office tomorrow. The rental car this time is a 2014 Altima (I think, anyway, based on the 25,000 miles on the odo). I've only driven it far enough to pick it up from Enterprise, but so far my initial reaction is Do Not Want. I'm trying to figure out why I keep hearing that this car is so much more upscale feeling than the competition. More than a Camry, maybe. But it looks and feels pretty gorram cheap everywhere.

Anyway, expect a scathing and cynical review when I get back Saturday. I can't wait to spend 3 hours each way with a CVT.

That's pretty much it. I dislike citrusy beers and I hate bitter beers.

Sorry, I was vague on the phone the other day, I had a lot going on. Now that summer school is over, I can be more attentive. $150 is a good price with the cracks, IMO. I would add the caveat of that price does NOT include shipping. Shipping a dash is a PITA and expensive.

first time driving the focus since coming back home home with the pup on saturday. the info screen was stating 24.2 mpg. i decided to do the math out myself when i filled up this morning. 28mpg. and that was averaging 85-90 mph the entire ride back. not bad at all.

f*** paypal.

I'm getting their goddamn "Cookies are turned off" error on EVERY BROWSER ON EVERY DEVICE I OWN while trying to make a purchase. Some of them are browsers where cookies cannot functionally be disabled in the first place (Steam). There is NO fix. No workaround. They've stated they don't care to fix it. I encounter it on AT LEAST 1 in 5 attempts to use the stupid service, and today's 0-out-of-many probably puts that closer to 3/5 statistically.

I despise lazy software companies. Especially lazy WEB software companies. It's f*** HTML. If you can't get it right you shouldn't be in business.

Lazy? No, more like cheap.

Web developers aren't trying to give anything away for free. As they should. HTML is like speaking an alien language for most people. (even though it's practically English)

I don't get it. I feel like the air is coming from nowhere but its is still in the system. I am bleeding brakes after putting a new rear stock size caliper and q45 fronts on my s13 . Starting at the rear drivers(furthest away) and going in, but there is always air coming out either on rear passenger front passenger or front driver, but either I can get rears to lock up under pressure or the fronts under pressure but never all of them. I may restart and replace all crush washers on the fittings but I don't want to... any advice?
