Mornin' Ray!

The 240 is finished (except for installing the wideband)drove it last weekend a bit.
It starts spooling at about 3000 rpms and pulls pretty hard close to the redline.
Think i am going to have to get a high flow cat so it will pass the emission inspection though.

It is still cold as s*** here (33 degrees).

Can't you just pass your own car?
I bet that thing is a blast to drive now. Why don't you just put the cat on in a way what you can R&R it really easily with some clamps? A friend had a turbo GTP and when he added the cat, he lost some VERY noticible horsepower.

You have to take your car through a city inspection here to get your tags.

It is only 4 bolts that hold it on so it won't be a problem to R&R the converter. :)

Smart thinkin'!

We dont have emissions on OBD1 car. They're supposed to do a visual, but the service guys make so little on an inspection that they don't bother to lift your car.

On pre OBD2 cars they do a sniffer test for the emissions, but they don't care if the fenders are falling off or one headlight is aimed up at the moon and the other is pointed to the side of the road.

I passed without having any cat. Run the tank almost empty, like just under 1/4 and pour in 2 gallons of denatured alcohol. Take the test, receive pass certificate and immediately fill with gas. Alcohol will lean out your mixture, but you won't knock because of it's octane ratio. Alcohol also burns WAY cleaner than pump gas of any octane.

I've used this method several times on multiple vehicles. My old K5 failed miserably, I did the above trick and passed. Might as well try it, too cheap not to.

I've heard of people doing that. Will it take care of the high HC? Thought about just backing the timing down and raising the idle speed.CO is fine.

My K5 failed for high HC. The only thing I did notice, it was a tad bit hard to start when running the alcohol. Once started it ran fine.

Also, drive around in lower gear for about 15 minutes to heat up the cats. Cats only work right at operating temperature. That was half the trick to passing with the Q.

Just got a call from the bike shop, and my Honda's ready for pickup! Gonna change the oil and ride it till she stops burning oil!

Nothing. There wasn't even really a relationship, but under precedents that we weren't seeing eye to eye on.

Basically she said she didn't want a relationship right now, and made me believe that it was because she was trying to pick up the pieces of her life and whatnot. Turns out she should've said "I don't want to be in a relationship with you. Sorry for leading you on." A week after she said she doesn't want a relationship, I find out through facebook she's seeing someone now.

FANTASTIC! Gotta love that. At the least, you know she was not worth even the slightest bit of your time.

Nah, it ain't even like that. (And I'm the only d!ck she ever gets. Ever. She mostly likes girls. No other guys but me.)

We've dated before, and she's got some INSANE commitment issues. Unlike me, who has never really gotten over her, 6 years and an equal number of girlfriends later. She's been through a stupid amount of s***, a lot of which I don't even know about. And even what I do know would break just about anyone. Stupid thing about me though, I still can't get over her. Even after this.

Not to mention there's no way I'll ever leave her completely. She means too much to me.

Oh, and AIM guys, go ahead and go f*** yourselves before you say any kind of "I told you so" or make any kind of h0m0 comment. :|
