I'd hope being in California, I could find some decent local wine. Haven't really looked, but I'm sure I could find some, you know?

Lou, click ties post haste!!! That is a lot of stuff for a HTPC case. Next time I need to take mine apart I'll snap some pics. Mobo/proc/ram/SSD/HDD/DVD and that's it. You've got quite a bit more going on than I do, though my mobo is mATX and the case is quite a bit smaller. Anyway, click tie that all up and it wont look so crazy.

Gerry, hurry up and get it finished. Half-done is less exciting. :chuckle:

Yea, I kind of thought of that once I took the pics...I was like...wait a second, I have a bunch of ties...lol...nevertheless it was 1130 and I was dead tired when I thought of that, so I'll do it tonight. Not to mention that 4GB of my 8GB of RAM isn't working...so I need to check the seating and make sure it's ok. Sometimes it boots with 4, sometimes with 8 lol.

Consider the case a HTPC/Server case at the same time. It's gonna end up feeding 2-3 extenders as well.

Gerry - it sits horizontal..looks like this on the front...

Ps - anyone own a Kill-A-Watt I can borrow? I want to see how much power things thing uses at idle...

I do not have anything you can borrow, plus the shipping would probably ruin it.

I had the exact same thing happen with the ram on my desktop when I built it 1+ years ago (Asus P7P55D Deluxe maybe with 8 gigs). It would occasionally boot with 4 visible and occasionally with 8. It wasn't a seating issue. And the ram would pass memtest. But something was still wrong with it. I swapped the ram out (exchanged it at the store since it was store-bought) and have not had any problems since. Just food for thought.

Chad, I saw you bank with Chase. Did you realize that the Android app will allow you to deposit checks by taking a picture of them? Just did it yesterday. Pretty sweet tbqh.
