It's apparently super easy to swap into an fc. That would be the main reasoning behind it. Plus, it has stupid amounts of torque for the cheap.

Since when has an LS been considered "cheap." It definitely wouldn't be that cheap swapping into an FC. The difficulty could be debatable depending on your fab skills.

That being said, I've ridden in a C5 vert before, albeit it was a slushbox. Damn, that thing was fast. Had only an exhaust, intake, and tune. Was making well over 100hp over stock. Pulled like a freaking jet from 60+.
