So I left my windows open last night and when I woke up this morning my apartment was exceptionally cold. Made it quite difficult to get out of the shower.

How's everyone else doing this fine monday morning? BTW, we need sarcasm tags...

We had record breaking heat last week (100 degrees) and now this morning is like 50 degrees.

Yeah, it was toasty down there, wasn't it? I was seeing that on the news when they showed what was going on around the nation...

We broke the heat record like 4 times last week. It hit 111. That sucked.

Morning crew.

I didn't look at my schedule, Chad, but I'm pretty sure Sunday will be open (with the exception of my desire to watch some football).

Well, if it's Bears football you're talking about, then no worries -- game doesn't start until 7:20 pm that day.

True, but I like all football. Though I think I'll be willing to skip some of the other random teams for a decent car (or people, really) meet.

And advice to everyone - don't run a marathon. It sucks.

Adam: Dee Vee Aar

Lou: I don't think I've run 26 miles total in the most recent 20 years of my life. That said, hats off to you for doing it -- were you happy with your time?

I'm not there yet lol. I did 18.2 this weekend. My legs don't like me today.

Shocked me as well, my friend.

Have you seen comcast's dvr? I'm pretty sure one football game in HD may consume ALL of the storage space on the device. I'm pretty sure they put a 6 GB HDD in there from about 10 years ago...

I have a metric s*** ton of stuff to do this week and I was making out my list. Thought I'd pop in and say Hi while I was at it because I don't know when it will happen again. How is everyone?

Lou - better you than me man. I love to run but the 10K is about my limit. Not sure I could even pull one of those off at the moment, at least not with an acceptable time.

Bex, 10k would still be impressive (to me at least). If I could make it farther tan 5k I'd be shocked. And, since you asked, doing well today. About as well as is possible for a Monday, anyway. Are you busy with school carp?

My dad and I used to run 10Ks together. The first year we each got a trophy: me for youngest entrant (I was 7), my dad for oldest (69). :chuckle:

I have three quizzes in Bio this week, two assignments in Psych plus a four chapter exam, homework help for the kids (Saraya has a HUGE project due this week), two birthdays, and a BBQ. Oh, and a doctor's appt. :woot:

Good luck with all that school garbage. I can't imagine how annoying it would be to have to squeeze that in with having a family and all. I thought it was rough when I was in college, and I had no other time commitments of any sort.

And are you seriously that much younger than your dad?

I was adopted by my paternal grandparents after my biological parents divorced. Stayed in the family, just made a generational switch. :-)
It's funny though, everything thought that I was really his.
