:gapteeth:

In other news, 16 mile runs are easier than 13.1. Strange.

Fact, the first marathon ever run took the life of the runner.

It's a good thing we learn from our mistakes then.

Dave, what happened to your avatar?

And Lou, I don't understand how one can commit to running 16 miles straight. Seriously, the longest I've made it is about a 5k. And there really wasn't anything left in the tank after that. Guess I just don't have the endurance.

As a former swimmer, I disagree. Not sure why, but I can get in the pool and swim forever. And, I would think most people would find swimming difficult well before the one mile mark. For a non-swimmer, a mile would take maybe 30 minutes to complete.

Yea, I get tired pretty quickly in the pool when doing laps. It doesn't take much.

Morning!

Hell, in good shape a mile will take 17+ minutes. That's a long time to be swimming for. I'd argue most of the country couldn't run that long either (time-wise, not distance).

Since I am now viewed as a "hypocrite", a "broad generalizer" and viewed as generally "erroneous" and all that by the staff, now I have to follow every rule on NICO to the exact letter.

LOL Not really, Papasmurf told me about it. It had the word btich in it... I really didn't think it was a huge deal cause others have had worse stuff, but it had to go. I guess it's true, it is against the TOS. I'll fix it one day and bring it back. Maybe b**** (lit.) slap instead?

Oh yeah... I guess I don't pay enough attention to the "bad words". It didn't even phase me...

What if he edited btich into it? Since we can freely post that, would it be acceptable for an avatar?

I would have no problem with it. But then again, I'm not the one who took down his avatar in the first place. He'd have to ask James.

Adam - I ended up getting the powerslot rotors and stoptech pads from the place near me...after going back and forth over email with the owner about brakes and asking certian things, he agreed to throw the pads in for free, and the cost of the rotors was cheaper than the stillen ones...I should get them tomorrow and the have them on hopefully before the weekend - I'll let you know how they are...but thanks for the heads up about that deal!

It's all good, Lou. Glad you got yourself a deal. Hopefully both our rotors will significantly outlast the stock crap.

Got a couple tickets and, like an idiot, never took care of them.

Now my license is suspended and I can't renew my tags until I get this figured out. The problem is I'm working my a** off trying to find out what I need to do, but no one has an answer. The issue is that I got the tickets in Tucson, and live in Phoenix. So when Tucson told me I was all set, Phoenix says differently, but can't give me a reason why.

It's starting to piss me off, but I did it to myself so I really don't have any reason to complain.
