well i found a boost leak at my TB. i thought it was the gasket so i bought a new one and the leak continued. Upon furthur looking its leaking from around the Throttle mechanism ( the part with the spring where it meets the TB) Is there any way to fix this? or do i need a new TB?

I may hit up a couple salvage yards in IL this weekend on saturday when I head home for mothers day. I can keep an eye out for a TB.

I don't think its easily fixable honestly.

Had the same problem with my original RB20 TB, it leaked under boost from the shaft seal. Sometimes TB's can be rebuilt, sometimes not (as was the case with the RB20 TB, supposedly). Try contacting this dude Maxbore.com and see what if anything he can do for you... Otherwise just pick up a different TB and hope for the best.
