I changed my injectors and didnt change the O-rings which I know now I should have changed. Alot of fuel filled up in the cylinders and in my manifold down into my intercooler & piping. I was trying to start the car for a while before I realized what was going on. I took off all the piping and intercooler and dried out the cylinders with an air compressor. I'm giving the car an oil change and installing all new o-rings tomorrow. Just wondering if this could have caused any damage to anything internally?

No but from the sound of how much fuel came out, an oil change is essential.

I had the same issue a couple months ago and I just lubed the crap out of the o-rings with vasoline and then used a q-tip to spread some inside the bore of the fuel rail injector socket. They should pop in there without effort, if you have to push hard, then something isn't lined up right.

just playing.

I think there was a similar thread that got pretty lengthy about this not too long ago, I'll try to search it and bring it up.

so now going to nissan for injector O-rings and I want to replace the upper and lower o-rings. Any idea the part numbers?

I'm going to nissan with my injectors...hopefully we can find a match.

I saw somewhere 94-96 O-rings should work.

300zx TT injector orings should do since those 370cc jectors share between 25, sr, and vg.

Did it ever start with the massive amount of gas? I've seen people wash down the cylinder walls with gas over here running to rich at idle and it kills the rings/crosshatch.

O yeah, and change the oil for sure.

well i cleaned out everything i could get my hands on. i took out the spark plugs and used air to get all the gas out the cylinders. took off all the intercooler piping and intercooler and cleaned all that out....there was nearly a gallon of gas in the pipes and intercooler! i even took a wire snake with some clean rag on the end and snaked it into all the runners in the intake plenum and thru the turbo. changed oil and instead of 5 quarts of oil coming out i got about 7-8 quarts of oil/gas mix. it was crazy. i replaced both o-rings on the injectors and before i installed the plugs i hooked up the fuel pump to direct power and made sure fuel didnt come out where it wasn't supposed to. replaced with fresh oil and dropped alittle oil down into the cylinders. I did a compression check to compare to my compression before and compression did get alittle lower. it dropped like 10-15 psi on cyl 1 and 5 and raised alittle on the others???

anyway, i started the car and after alittle while idle got more steady and smoke blowing out of the exhaust lessened.

I will drive her around for alittle while and then do another oil/filter change. and do another compression check and see what happens.

It takes a while to get the gas out of the exhaust piping too. I swear I had a pool of it against my wastegate valve.

hmmmm...the smoke went away.

car is running better....

im very skeptical about things so i refrain from getting overly excited too quickly.

right after i read this comment from you i tried starting the car again and when i go into boost the boost pressure goes down...wastegate isnt moving....hopefully this works itself out.
