leaky cam cover

ok so like my cam cover on the exhuast side is leaking from around that square part, it seems like its 2 pieces? the rectangular part that like comes off of the cam cover toward the back. anyone else have this? what can i do?>

Change the gaskets and don't over tighten bolts that fasten the covers to the head. Also, place a dab of silicone on top of the half moon cam plugs to help with sealing.

No, he's talking about where the connection for the PCV tube it at.

Mine is doing the same thing and I haven't found a solution yet. It doesn't leak very bad, so it hasn't really been a priority yet.

yea mine dont leak bad either, just kinda looks sloppy, im thinking maybe a little leatant on the outside? idk once i pull it out i will investigate more and let ya know if i find a solution

Give the section a good soaking in hot soapy water, then rinse in metho, and leave out in sun to dry.

Then run some wick-in locktite threadlock into the gaps. That'll solve the problem.
