I have a 240sx with q45 brakes that i got from a junkyard. Ok this has been going on for about two weeks and it started just as the weather has gotten to around freezing temps over night. When i get up and turn my car on to warm it up the brake light stays on after i drop the ebrake. I looked at my fluid level and it was low so i filled it. Stayed ok for the rest of the week. Then anouther really cold night and the same thing. Today i finally wanted to see what was up becouse it was a cold night again. I drop the ebrake and rolled my car back to see if there were any puddles. There was a rather large one under the passenger tire and about half the size of that under the driver side tire. So i cranked the wheel one way top see what was going on back there. I got spl stainless lines which i felt for leaks along the line and at the two connections and nothing. Then i felt/looked at the brake pad on the back of the rotor. The pads that the pistons push up against and they were covered in brake fluid. I could smell it. So i looks like i have some leaky pistons. Can i rebuild the calipers or do i need new ones? I just got these over the summer so the are rather new to my possesion.

its not hard to replace the seals, you need the actual brake seal rebuilt kit, which includes the seals, and may or maynot come with grease, i know the nissan kit comes with the grease.

You'll also need emery cloth to polish the cylinder walls to clean them up and give the new seals a fresh start.

Its not that hard and should take a patient person a whole evening to complete. FSM is recommended so you know where everything goes. Rebuilding the rears are a bit harder and i might recommend rebuilt ones instead, but fronts are easy.

Fronts have 2 pistons each vs rear single so time accordingly.

your not supposed to polish the pistons because they are coated with some sort of metal coating and you could weaken it and make it flake off by sanding/polishing it.

emery cloth comes in different grits, you should use a fine grit, since your only lightly polishing the cylinder wall, try not to reshape it and create a nice paperweight.
