I've posted a few times and have mentioned how my 240 had some minor repairs and routine 75k maintenance. Well, today I noticed my car is leaking oil. Or at least we (my friend's dad who is a mechanic) think it's oil. We think it might be leaking from the front and the back. We are going to check tomorrow before I leave in the morning.
The work that was done on the car was done at the end of May. My friend's dad said that dealerships will generally honor their work up to 12,000 miles, but I am not sure. Does anyone know about Nissan's dealership warranties? When the car was repaired the seals on the engine were replaced (I think - the paperwork is in my glove box). I really don't want to pay out my arse for labor and parts for something that was supposedly fixed a few months ago (I've only put 1500 miles on the car since it came in to my possession).
If anyone knows, or has any advice I'd appreciate it. Also, I am moving to another state for a few months, and my friend's dad suggested I deal with the dealership while I am down there so as to have fewer people involved in the situation. I hope my car can make the 14 hour drive!
