Uh, no I'm not completely sure what he's trying to say - and I'd like to help if possible - I'm not trying to be a jerk dude...

M76:

When you turn the AC on, does it come out of the vents misty? Try changing to recirculate and see of it stops.

Does it happen always or just when you start the AC? If it happens always, it could be the heat exchanger leaking fluid - dealer or repair shop could determine this.

I recommend taking it to a different dealer or repair shop for a look/repair.

Also if you have mold inside the car you definitely need to clean that out ASAP because that is a health hazard!

Try this link for how to clean mold from your car:

Good luck...

sounds like heat exchanger to me...

if its just mold from moister in the vents, first clean, pref with a watered down mold remover and air... then use silica packets in each vent, including those running under the center console and from the in cabin air filter...

also, check the weather seal behind the battery, if not sealed correctly water will leak into the ac filter system causing moisture to seep in especially if not recirculating...

The air conditioning drain tube exits the cabin in the passenger side footwell. The rubber grommet that holds the tube to the chassis/metal floor can be pushed out by a passenger pressing their feet to the front part of the floorboard. You can pull back the formed carpet by removing a couple of plastic parts that press fit in place. Re-seat the grommet and throw the sponge spacer that fits in the body channel next to the door away - it holds moisture indefinitely and stinks horribly when it gets wet.

Water gets under the carpet, through the A/C drain hole when you drive in wet/rainy conditions. 70 mph makes the water on the underbody travel in all sorts of unexpected directions and unsealed places...

Thats what I ended up doing with mine.

Good luck,

Gordo
