leaking sunroof

I have a '93 coupe and every time it rains either really hard or for a long time the sunroof starts to leak
right above the driver and passenger seats (the back corners). Is anyone else having this problem and
have any solutions??

It's an electric sunroof if that matters any.

I doubt you'd get flamed for this. It's not a dumb question.. Try looking at where the seals are and see if you can repair them.

I don't think its the seal around the glass, if there is one, because water sits in the little plastic pieces that are screwed to the glass.

remove the headliner and check the hoses.
there are 4 (1 at each corner) that feed down the pillars.
check to make sure they are tight around the outlet holes from the sunroof,
or if there are any cracks on the hoses.

Ok, I'll try that. But I don't think its the drain hoses because water sits in
the plastic pieces on each side of the glass, like it's coming from the above
those pieces, like it's coming from the glass or something.

But i'll check the hoses too.

i have the same problem... i hate it. at least the rains are over. i'm getting so fed up with it that im thinking of just taking it out and patch the hole with sheet metal. get rid of teh sunroof all together.

I wanna keep mine, it's nice to have in Florida, but I want the stupid thing to quit leaking.

did you check the seals? they might look fine, but it could be messed up somewhere or its not sealing properly.

Is the seal around the glass or between the glass and the metal mount rails?
