Hello, Any insight on a fix ? I have heard a drain duct may be plugged and having trouble locating that. Is it a BIG fix to install a new gasket ?THANKS for your help

The drain holes are on the front left and right corners. You may have to brush away any debris to even see them.I had to.

Good Afternoon. So here is my deal. My Sun Roof is not working, I think I need to replace the motor, It also leaks, right now my passenger floor is soaked. (i live in Seattle, so you can imagine.) I need to be able to get to get to the drains, Should I take inside ceiling cover off? What do you suggest? Thanks

Ive been told if you take the switch panel off up there there's a way to crank the sunroof back manually. Can anybody confirm this ?Ive never had the need to try.

go here and scroll down to Pic 13.

I'm guessing that's where you would manually operate it.

Before you crank it back, I would check to see if any fuses are shot.

As for the manual open method, I have not tried it yet but i believe there is a lever the locks down as an anti-theft device(In my J i can hear a small click when it finishes closing) but i'm not sure. If you force it open you may damage it.

Yes the sunroof can be manually cranked, with either the tool supplied in the Infiniti toolbox(if you still have the Infiniti toolbox and/or tools) or a household screwdriver.

I have used a piece of metric hex stock in a battery drill lube the cables with silicone as you open and close it.

Someone here posted the best thing to use is "Drip-less" candle wax.Don't remember the chemical name but it supposedly last ALOT longer than silicone or Lithium grease.I apologize for not remembering the member that posted that.
