Well I guess those high speed runs have finally caught up with my engine, I came home tonight to find out that my car has been leaking oil. Not too much, and it had to have started today, because it wasn't there this morning.

My question, what could be possible causes of the leak. Could it be high oil pressure, or that a seal burst? I need to get this problem solved as fast as possible, can't be without a car.

kthx.

I know its not the valve cover, thats torqued to specs, and the gasket was recently replaced. I will try to pinpoint the leak tomorrow b/c its nighttime over here. Thanks man.

NISTECH I have pictures of where the leak is coming from. Seems like it was leaking worse than I thought, and the splashguard was catching most of it.

(the one on the right...)

My question is, what do I do? Should I replace the entire assembly or try to tighten it down and fix the leak? Is there a gasket for that, maybe that went bad? I'm lost...:help

snap one off from above your compressor. by looking at the 2 pics you took it appears your crank seal, front cover, and pan are not the source of the leak but cant really see behing the a/c adjuster and cant tell if it might be coming from above the compressor. it looks almost like you blew out the compressor seal by those pictures. so one shot above the compressor should help to determine that. if your not able to get a good shot above it you may need to remove the 4 mounting bolts and pull it away to look behind it.
