Parts installed so far:

1. JWT ECU programed for 72lbs and Z32 MAF2. sidefeed 72lbs injectors3. Z32 not installed

I thought I would do some checking while waiting for the filter to come in. I also have 3 inch mandrel bend pipe that I have to get cut for the intake pipe. I cranked the car up with everything installed and stock MAF. The car started up and idled for a couple of minutes. No black smoke out the pipe. A few minutes later I started it up again with no changes the car would not idle. So tonight I cranked it with no MAF and it would not idle. I took out each spark plug and the plugs were wet. I am wondering if I installed the injectors incorrectly or if installing the Z32 MAF will fix my problem?

I'm not experienced with the z32 maf yet so I can't offer any valued information on that part of you question. However, I've dealt with leaky injectors too many times here lately. Did you lube the injectors up really well, I used a lot of vasoline on each on. It also helps alot to not tighten the injector caps a bunch, I did them just hand tight.

According to the instructions I used new motor oil and lightly lubed them. It was a PITA to push those injectors in. The injectors are not leaking on top but have no idea if it is leaking on the bottom.I destroyed all 4 old injectors trying to get them out!!

I used motor oil the first time too to no success. I have changed the lower o-rings three times now and have yet to have a upper one blow. My stockers are destroyed as well. Just use lots of lube and do not tighten the bolts a bunch, worked for me the third time around.

check your injector plugs and the 'o-ring' that the injector has on it:)

I don`t think it is my injectors now I think it is the JWT ECU program. I have wideband coming in this week I will know more when I hook it up.

Interesting... If the program is for 720cc injectors, it should theoretically idle like a champ with the MAFS unplugged. Sounds like it's the program (if the o-rings are in good order).

After I installed my JWT ecu, 72 lb injectors and a Z32 MAF the car would not idle. It was running pig rich as evident from black smoke out the tailpipe and the wideband was reading RICH. I tried to back the car out of the garage and I couldn't keep it running. After several hours of research and troubleshooting I found the problem to be a ground with the MAF. There are two ground wires for it, one has to go to the ecu and the other to a good chassis ground.

Without the MAF the car goes into a safe mode and runs crazy rich, same as blowing of an intercooler pipe. I've never had the car go into "safe" mode when it was n/a so I can't compare the JWT ecu to the factory.

I don`t get any black smoke at all. It just fluctuates and wont stay at 700rpm. I have not tried grounding that other to the chasis but I might try it to see if that helps any.

Well I grounded the wire that was not going to anything and it did not help it any.
