Leaking from roof!

Hello everybody,

I had my 94 300zx in the car wash 2 days ago and noticed water dripping from the top of both the passenger side and drivers side doors. The water drops were coming from an area closer to the front windsheild. I took a look at the weather stripping from the doors and noticed a few tiny rips at the top. Could this be the issue or could it be my t-tops leaking. Can anyone suggest what I should do in this situation.

When this happens, it could be worn/out of shape rubber weather strips on the T-Top and the car. Z1, CZP and courtesy parts sell new ones. They are pretty expensive, I'll be changing mine when I paint. Or it may be clogged T-Top drain holes.

When you open the t tops the should be some holes at the end closer to the window, make sure those 4 holes aren't clogged up with dust or other stuff. If u can get a blower blow the holes out so the water can drip down in there to eliminate the leaking.

I was wondering, I pulled out my drain tube on the passenger side of the Z and I don't know if the tube is connected to anything at the bottom end of the tube. Can anyone tell me if the drain tube is connected to another tube or does it just lead to the little compartment in the wheel well????

Its not connected to anything, it just leads to the outside of the car. I think it ends somewhere in the door hinge area. But don't quote me on it.
