Tonight my car shut off as I exited off the highway, temp was normal until i got to the exit so i turned on the heat and let the car coast. The car then turned off (due to being overheated or maybe a leak in the cooling system....may sound like a noob, idc) The steam seemed to be rising from under the intake mani near the starter. I had a previous problem but nothing this dramatic. A month prior the car left a puddle of coolant in a friends driveway. The coolant seemed to be coming from where my transmission bolts to my engine block?????? or perhaps leaked down from somewhere above. I'd like answers, if you insist on leaving douchebag comments, telling me to search around, dont bother leaving them. I have searched, I wouldn't be posting if I didnt search. Thank you.

Okay update. We cranked the car and coolant poored out of this area BEHIND/ABOVE these two hoses. We then tried to crank again with the radiator cap open, the water coming out of the rad smelt of gasoline. Please debunk my assumptions and tell me i did not blow motor.
