1990 240sx with stock brake master cylinder.

If I fill my reservoir, it is empty after 2 days, i'm not sure what is wrong or what is leaking. All the fluid is drippping out from between the master cylinder and brake booster. Is there some sort of seal? I don't think it is normal for fluid to be coming out from between.

There's gotta be a leak somewhere. Raise the car up and have a poke around the bottom. Look for your brake fluid, it'll be around there somewhere. Usually I check the bleeders, and around the master. But it could be anywhere from the meeting points for your lines to an actual rubber brake line rupture to your bleeders leaking. Just check around.

Or maybe get a rebuilt one. If it's leaking from between the master & booster than its the seal on the piston

READ THE POST........ He knows where the leak is. Needs to know if its repairable. If its similar toan S14 designation 94-99 then yeah there are two pistons inside the brake master cylinder they can be removed and the seals replaced. But if the cylinder is scored or pitted then it has to be replaced.Looks time consuming because you have to remove the whole assembly.. nuts up under the dash+pedal linkage+brake and vacuum lines. Service manual for euro versions (same chassis brakes etc/ different motor SR20DET) is available at http://www.datnet.org in PDF format.

VERGE, All the stuff under the dash would be to remove the brake booster correct? if it is leaking from between the booster and master cylinder it would more than likely be a problem with the cylinder correct? Can;t I just unbolt it from the booster and replace it? I ordered a new one, I just want to make sure that it has nothing to do with the booster which I am 200% sure it doesn't since the booster doesn't see fluid.

I have the same exact leak in the same exact location =\. It really suxs cuz its appears that its been leaking for a while and all the paint below (and even the paint in the brake booster) is bubbling and cracking.

I tried looking for a master brake cylinder rebuilt kit at Autozone but they dont carry them. Gotta go to Kragen or NAPA for them (they usually got what i need).
