leaking between engine and transmission

i've noticed that i have a small leak between my engine and transmission. i changed the rear main seal on the engine before i put it in, wat could it be?

Oil or transmission fluid? Could be that you installed the rear main wrong. They can be somewhat finicky. I put a new one on my car and it was still leaking. Had to go back and change it and cake the gaskets with rtv.

hmm..i really dont know if its transmission or engine oil. i use royal purple but after its used its not purple no more lol. is there anyway to tell?

That's one reason why I don't replace a seal that doesn't need to be. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Could be your valve cover gasket leaking on the backside, dripping down to where you see it..

when i changed the clutch out it was already leaking so i replaced it. the valve cover gasket was changed during the swap (beginning of may) dont think it could be that.
