Seeing as how winter is finally here for those of us in the NE I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing that pleasant sensation of freezing air flowing in from under the driver side door and gently numbing your left leg? I looked at the door seal and its fine. It also seems to be only on that specific door as well. Will be taking it to the dealer for the passenger airbag change as well the TPMS Body Module change and get them to look at it as well.

I'd have been happy if winter never arrived this year.... but as I do live in Canada I guess I just have to accept it! As to your question - I have not noticed this problem. It's really only been cold here for a couple of days now so I'll be looking for it now....

What I have noticed is that it seems to take a while for the car to warm up. I've only had one experience with this as I usually go from my underground parking at home to my underground parking at work but yesterday I had the car parked outside in the cold for about 6 hours and I was half way home (30 minute commute) before the hot air was blowing.

Maybe I expect too much because I've been spoiled with the underground parking at home and at work? (well not spoiled...I do pay big $$$ for the convenience!)

I can feel air coming through where the window and lock controls are, but I've had that with all my cars, other than that I feel no air aside from the vents

Hmm...there does appear to be some cold air around the base of the driver door map holder area. Not sure if I feel a breeze, though. Could it simply be a cold spot that the heater can't reach? There are no under-seat heat vents. I opened the door and the seal seems a bit weak. I will have to investigate further.

I'd check the weather stripping on the door. It might have comes loose, or have gottne torn. Then I'd chekc the door gaps (compare it to the passenger door) and see if hte sheetmetal is deformed. You're car should also be quieter once you fix the leak.

My problem is that the car is sealed too tight and moisture evaporating from the footwells condenses on the windows as the temperature drops. The car is so tight, that the inside humidity stays high even when sitting in a parking lot all day. The moisiture is trapped inside.

The car heats up normal for a 1.8L engine... but the heater core is fairly large and effecient. Once it's hot, it produces plenty of heat. I wish when the engine was cold and the A/C is on, only the condensor fan ran, instead of both the radiator fan and condensor fan. I think it cools off the engine too much.

Well, I have confirmed a definite draft at the base of the driver's side door. There is a plastic rail that covers the lip at the base of the door frame and when I run a finger along where it meets the carpet on the inside, there is a small section that appears to be missing a seal just under the plastic. I will have the dealer take a look at it during my 3750 oil change.
