i just installed a header and i wanted to know if it were to leak wouldnt the check engine light come on?

no, but if u wanna know if it is leaking then u will hear a strange sound in your exhast system. and u will notice a power lost.

what would that noise sound like by the way, i just took off the heat shield on my stock exhaust manifold, and half of the bolts were completly gone! and gas was leaking out of it all over the place.
