After a drive, I have been noticing a pool of (water?) thinking maybe it's off an AC line but really I have no idea. This is right under the front passenger seat so any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Image You can see the wet spot in this picture. Image

That's right about where my air con drips. Should be easy to see if its water by rubbing it between your fingers and giving it a whif. By the way, after a drive, I am surprised how much water drips off the air con. It makes a little trail following the length of the car and forms a small puddle at the lowest point. I had the dealer do a thorough inspection when I had them flush the system and they told me that it's normal for that much water after a long drive.

Yeah i smelled it and I was pretty sure it was water. Good to hear I'm not the only one that's had this. Does yours keep doing it? It's really hot here right now (probably same for you) so the AC is really cold most of the time maybe that has something to do with it.

Yes, it happens all the time. I use air con all year down here so no matter how short the trip, there is always a puddle or a trail of water on that side of the car. I reckon it would smell like anti-freeze if it was the water pump, a hose, or the radiator, and power steering fluid has a really strong odor that cannot be mistaken for coolant, etc.

I was meant to post this weeks ago, and finally I remembered. In the event anyone else should become concerned about the puddle forming under the passenger side of your car. here is what I see nearly every day. The dirty ground makes it look like oil or some other bodily fluid from the car. It is, however, just condensation dripping from the air/con.

The filth under my car is from the daily monsoons we get in September. o use washing the car as it will turn to crap within 24 hours.

Yup, that's normal. The more humidity, the more condensation is produced.

Ha, I know the feeling. I've had mine for only a few months, and am over 4-5k into it for repairs already.

Totally normal. Actually yours looks a little light compared to some of them I've seen. Mine looks like someone cut a sprite can in half and dumped it out under the car most days lol
