Ok, we finally got a bit of rain here in Calif, a couple of feet in 3 weeks or so, hadn't driven the Q much and then yesterday my wife got in on the pass side to see some white stuff growing! Mold. Grrrr.

It was wet, not as bad as my BMW wagon, and they've both been thru serious rain in the 7-8 years I've owned them, without issues until this past week. So, searching didn't find much, what kind of a leak am I likely looking at? Haven't done anything since the last serious rain, nothings changed. Wet, not super wet, but wet. Got it fairly dry with a shop vac, mostly concentrated by the door. And is there anything super critical down below the carpeting I need to worry about?

Does it have a sunroof? If so, the drains are the very first thing to check.

Yes it does, although it doesn't get used much, but things like that can be sneaky in buildup. Conventional drain with a tube leading down?

Yep. Been a loooooong time since I worked on a QX4, but the parts drawing shows a wooden-leg-standard Nissan setup.

Thanks. As it's raining again, not hard, but wetter than I like working in, I'll check them when it stops.
