My Z is leaking from this bolt. It right on top of the clutch slave cylinder. Any ideas? :ohno: :confused:

This last pic you can see on the bottom flat service that it is also dripping.

My best suggestion would be to fix it. ;)

I'm not going to go out and put mine up on a jack to look; but if memory serves me correct, that bolt and bracket looks similar to the starter bracket. Also the oil filter is located somewhat above the slave cylinder as well. The actual leak point might be higher up. Could just be the oil filter not tightened enough.

The leaks I see here are most likely a valve cover gasket on that side dripping down the block, or also possibly a rear main seal. Both are extremely common and present similarly, in mine I assessed it to be rear main seal but it was actually a valve cover.

Def not the oil filter.

Thanks im going to fix it once it gets a bit worse.

I'd recommend sooner rather than later if possible, as a leak of the valve covers or rear seal will make a real mess and maybe even affect your clutch.
