Hey guys, I am new to the forum. I had some mold issues appear the other day so I cleaned it up and the next day it still smelled foul. I noticed the water drain passage in between the rear window and the trunk seal was plugged up the whole width of the car. I cleared all of that out now but then I noticed water had gotten inside the trunk and this was the main cause of all the mold in the car. As I start peeling away all the trim I find my whole spare compartment filled with water. Like a mini pool, seems like it had been there for awhile since a slime had started forming on the spare tire and tool bag. Drained and cleaned it all up but noticed the passenger rear quarter of the car was really wet, I wanted to see if there has been any bulletins or other people with this issue. I left everything apart and plan to shoot it with a hose in the morning to see if it leaks anymore. Any tips would be great.

UPDATE - So I did the water test to see where it was coming from with all the trim removed. The top weather stripping seems fine, although I would like to bring the trunk down a little more, does not sit exactly flush. If anyone has tips on how to do that, please share. It seems like the water is coming from the taillight assembly. A lot of water gets back there because there is no foam to block out the water but so the water is entering from the right side tail light area and coming in where the trunk release hook is attached to on the right side below the tail light. I could not find any holes.
