Anyone has a recommended brand for leak-down tester? or are they pretty much the same (including ebay brand)?

Does advance auto or autozone rent them out for free?

buy the same brand leak down tester that you would use for any tools. Try and see if craftsman, Matco, snap-on etc make one and go from there. I don't own one so I cant recommend any particular brand sorry.

There's not a whole lot that would change from one brand to the next. The gauges used would be the components that you should be most concerned with from both an accuracy and a reliability perspective.

If I remember when I get home, I'll post up the one I have.
